As an asexual lesbian, I want to make sure that anyone who supports me is safe, and knows that they are valid. If you or anyone you know is struggling with their identity, or is in need of educational resources, they will always be here if needed.
The Trevor Project was founded in 1998 by Peggy Rajski, Randy Stone, and Celeste Lecesne, it is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.
The It Gets Better Project is a nonprofit organization with a mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe. They offer educators and student leaders easy-to access and easy-to use resources, information, and more – all in support of LGBTQ+ students everywhere.
PFLAG is the first and largest organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, their parents and families, and allies. With over 400 chapters and 200,000 members and supporters crossing multiple generations of families in major urban centers, small cities, and rural areas across America, PFLAG is committed to creating a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued, and affirmed.
